We received a request from a customer to make custom doll clothes, as shown in the photo below .

9. Stick-shaped weapon (decorative)
The costume you requested has an original pattern on the skirt and obi. This fabric is not commercially available, so we created the printing data on a computer and had it printed at a fabric printing factory to prepare the material.
In the photo sent with your request, some parts of the skirt pattern are hidden by pleats, and the back of the obi is also hidden. These hidden and unseen parts are then filled in by the designer using their imagination and drawn into flat data. The more complex the pattern or design, and the more unseen parts there are, the more difficult it is to digitize it.
It takes about 1-2 weeks from sending the printing data to the fabric printing factory until the fabric is completed, so this step is done first.

Once the fabric printing arrangements are complete, we will start making the inner shirt.

Put an inner shirt on the doll and then create a shirt pattern using temporary fabric.

We will make a shirt based on the pattern.

We will make obi using fabric printed at the fabric printing factory.

The obi is removable with Velcro.

The shape of the obi is starting to come into view.

Now we will make the back of the obi.

We will make skirts using fabric printed at the fabric printing factory .

There are slits on the sides.

We will be making obi accessories using fabric printed at the fabric printing factory.

The obi accessories are finished.

We will be making hair accessories.

We will make the shirt sleeves.

Sew the fabric together.

The bottom has a beautiful pink color gradient, which was printed at a fabric printing factory.

At this point, the costume is completely complete.

Finally, we will create a rod-shaped weapon. First, we will use a computer to read the shape of the circular item at the top of the weapon and create a pattern.

Cut out the material according to the pattern.

Polish the edges of the cut-out parts neatly.

This is what it looks like with the stick attached. ☟

Paint the cut out material.

Now we will create the inner blue parts.

It's finally finished! The production period was 90 days in total. Thank you for your hard work! ☟
