Attention to detail in the shirt The base white shirt is a crucial item, combining cleanliness and elegance. We faithfully reproduced the collar shape, angle, and placket width based on the provided materials, designing it to beautifully fit the DDS body's neckline. The cuffs were also meticulously finished, considering the balance of the sleeves peeking out from the sweater. The sewing takes into account wrinkles and three-dimensionality during wear, achieving a natural look.
Expressing sweater texture For the khaki beige sweater, we focused on expressing the softness and warmth characteristic of knit materials. Despite being doll-sized, we started with appropriate fabric selection to maintain the texture of real knit material. We also carefully calculated the volume when layered and the thickness adjustment when layered with the shirt, ensuring no unnatural bulkiness. The sleeve and hem lengths are optimized to fit the DDS body type.
Beautiful trousers silhouette The black trousers feature an exquisite silhouette that is slim yet doesn't feel restrictive. To beautifully showcase the DDS leg line, we meticulously calculated the inseam length and hem width. The waist treatment is also carefully done, designed to consider the appearance when a belt is worn. The pocket positions and shapes are faithfully reproduced based on the materials, pursuing realism in every detail.
Belt finishing The light green belt is an important accent that ties the entire coordination together. Despite being doll-sized, it has the texture and functionality of a real belt, with a specification that allows it to be securely fastened. The buckle shape and metal texture are carefully finished, achieving a beautiful result that looks great in photos.
Perfection of the layered style What we focused on most in this work was the natural expression of the layered style. By creating a structure where the shirt and sweater can actually be layered, we perfectly recreated the charm unique to layering, such as the shirt peeking out from the collar and the shirt sleeves visible from the cuffs. Each item functions independently, yet when combined, they create beautiful harmony, with each dimension carefully adjusted.
Attention to material selection To faithfully reproduce the impression of the provided materials, we compared multiple fabric samples with different colors and textures. Especially for the khaki beige of the sweater, which changes in appearance depending on the lighting and angle, we checked the color development under various conditions and selected the fabric with the closest hue to the materials.
Ease of dressing In addition to aesthetic beauty, we also considered practicality. We devised the positions and specifications of the openings to allow for smooth dressing and undressing of the DDS body. The design balances durability and ease of handling, so customers can enjoy dressing their dolls daily.
