This 9-piece set faithfully reproduces an illustration provided by the customer. The most distinctive feature is the back wings made with a 3D printer. These wings fulfill all five requirements: shape retention, durability, angle adjustment, easy detachment, and lightweight design. All items, including the dress, jacket, and hat, perfectly fit the MDD size. Every detail has been meticulously crafted in this dedicated piece.

Based on an illustration provided by the customer, this work meticulously designed and created every item from scratch to perfectly fit the body size of a Dollfie Dream
🪶 Challenge of the Most Difficult Part: "Wings"
The "wings" attached to the back were the most technically challenging part of this creation. We faced the problem that ordinary cloth or wire could not maintain the ideal shape, nor could they achieve both lightness and strength. Therefore, our studio chose to utilize 3D printer technology.
All five major requirements for wing production were met:
✅ Shape retention: Rigidity to prevent the wings from losing their form in any situation
✅ High durability: Strength to withstand repeated attachment/detachment and display
✅ Angle adjustment function: Movable structure to fine-tune the opening angle of the left and right wings
✅ Easy detachment: Designed to be attached by beginners without damaging the dress
✅ Lightweight design: Achieved a lightness that does not compromise the dress's silhouette
From 3D data creation to molding, polishing, and painting, everything was done in-house, aiming for a texture close to natural feathers. A dedicated joint structure was adopted to fix the wings to the back part when worn, considering both posing during photography and appearance during display.
👘 Precision Sewing Techniques for Dress and Jacket
To reproduce the elegant silhouette of the illustration, the main dress fabric was carefully selected. By appropriately combining the outer fabric, lining, and interlining, we ensured that the drape would be beautiful even on the doll's small body. Seam allowances, stitch uniformity, and hem finishing were meticulously done to ensure durability that resists fraying even after repeated wearing and removal.
The jacket perfectly matches the MDD's proportions, including the shoulder line, sleeve length, and front placket. Buttons, ribbons, and collar decorations were placed exactly as in the illustration, with meticulous attention to maintaining overall balance.
🎩 Crafting of Small Items and Accessories
Small items such as the hat, tie, ribbon, and belt set are not just "extras." The hat's ribbon decoration has a wire inside for free shape adjustment. The tie perfectly matches the illustration in pattern direction and color, with a natural three-dimensional knot.
The belt set includes crafted metal fittings, and the plate skirt has an internal core material to maintain its shape. The pumpkin shorts express natural fullness with gathers and tucks, prioritizing a three-dimensional look when worn.
📸 Quality and Reproducibility Conveyed Through Photos
In the photo collection, the first image compares "before" (illustration) and "after" (finished product worn), while subsequent images showcase the detailed stitching, material texture, and decorative details without omission. The actual product possesses a three-dimensionality and presence beyond what photos can convey, making it highly suitable for display and photography.
