A 9-piece set faithfully reproduced from an illustration provided by a customer. The most distinctive feature is the wings on the back, produced with a 3D printer. All five requirements—shape retention, durability, angle adjustment, easy detachment, and lightweight design—have been met. The dress, jacket, hat, and all other items fit the MDD size perfectly. This is a meticulously crafted piece where no detail was overlooked.

🪶Challenge of the Most Difficult Part: "Wings"
The most challenging aspect of this production, demanding the highest level of technical skill, was the "wings" to be attached to the back. Conventional fabric or wire could not maintain the ideal shape and failed to achieve both lightness and strength. Therefore, our workshop opted to utilize 3D printing technology.
Achieving all 5 major requirements for wing production:
✅ Shape Retention: Rigidity to maintain the wing's form in any situation
✅ High Durability: Strength to withstand repeated attachment/detachment and display
✅ Angle Adjustment Function: Movable structure allowing fine adjustment of the wings' spread
✅ Easy Detachment: Designed for easy attachment even by beginners without damaging the dress
✅ Lightweight: Achieved a lightness that does not compromise the dress's silhouette
From 3D data creation to molding, polishing, and painting, we handled the entire process, aiming for a texture close to natural feathers. For attachment, we adopted a dedicated joint structure that can be fixed to the back part, considering posing during photoshoots and visual appeal during display.
👘Precise Sewing Techniques for the Dress and Jacket
To reproduce the elegant silhouette from the illustration, the dress body required careful fabric selection. By appropriately combining the outer fabric, lining, and interlining, we ensured beautiful draping even on the doll's small body. Seam allowances, stitch uniformity, and hem finishing were meticulously done to ensure durability that resists fraying even after repeated wearing and removal.
The jacket was perfectly tailored to the MDD's proportions, including the shoulder line, sleeve length, and front overlap. Buttons, ribbons, and collar decorations were also placed according to the illustration, paying close attention to maintaining the overall balance.
🎩Detailing of Accessories
Accessories such as the hat, necktie, ribbons, and belt set are not mere "add-ons." The hat's ribbon decoration contains wire, allowing for flexible shape adjustment. The necktie's pattern direction and color perfectly match the illustration, and the knot has a natural three-dimensional appearance.
The belt set features detailed metal fittings, and the plate skirt has an internal core material to maintain its shape. The pumpkin shorts feature gathers and tucks to create a natural fullness, emphasizing their three-dimensional appearance when worn.
📸Quality and Reproducibility Conveyed through Photos
The photo collection shows a before-and-after comparison (illustration vs. finished product worn) in the first image, with subsequent images showcasing detailed sewing, material texture, and decorative details. The actual product has a more three-dimensional feel and presence than in photos, and its quality is sufficient for display and photography.

Leveraging over 7 years of production experience, our workshop offers flexible options for material changes, size adjustments, and detail additions according to customer requests. In addition to reproduction from illustrations or photos, customization such as "making this part more ornate" or "making it even easier to put on and take off" is also possible.
