💎 The World of Authentic Formal Suits for Nendoroid Size
This project is a meticulously crafted work that fully reproduces a set of authentic formal suits worn by adult men, all in a small Nendoroid size of approximately 14cm tall. Based on the reference photos provided by the customer, we produced a 6-piece set including a shirt, vest, tie, jacket, trousers, and shoes, without compromising on any detail.
👔 Perfect Reproduction of Layered Style
The charm of a formal suit undoubtedly lies in the beauty of its layered shirt, vest, and jacket. To achieve this layered style on a doll size of just 14cm, the thickness and material selection of each item are extremely important.
For this project, we chose a thin and soft fabric for the shirt, a moderately firm material for the vest, and a fabric that creates a three-dimensional effect for the jacket. By utilizing the characteristics of each material, we succeeded in maintaining a beautiful silhouette without bulkiness, even with three layers. Each layer naturally overlaps to fit the Nendoroid's small physique, creating a three-dimensional feel and a sense of luxury like a real suit.
✂️ Precision Technology Unique to Ultra-Small Sizes
Creating formal suits for Nendoroid size requires a higher level of skill than regular doll clothing production.
【Shirt Collar】 To maintain the beautiful shape of the collar, extremely fine interlining was used, and stitching was performed down to the millimeter. The neckline stands up neatly, expressing the elegance characteristic of formal wear.
【Vest Front】 Elements of a real vest, such as buttonholes and pockets, were reproduced as much as possible. Precision work, down to 1mm in cutting and sewing, achieved details that are hard to believe for a 14cm size.
【Jacket Tailoring】 The jacket was the most difficult. All characteristic details of a formal jacket, such as the lapels, cuffs, and pockets, were incorporated. Especially for the collar's turn-back and the shoulder line, numerous prototypes were made to pursue the most beautiful angle and shape.
【Tie】 Though small, the impactful tie uses a special folding method to create a three-dimensional knot. It fits perfectly around the neck, creating a neat, business-like appearance.
【Trousers】 The waist, inseam, and hem length were meticulously measured and produced to perfectly fit the Nendoroid's physique. The fabric's elasticity was also considered to maintain a beautiful silhouette whether standing or sitting.
【Shoes】 As professionals, we don't neglect the footwear. The form and color of gentleman's shoes were reproduced to complete the suit style from the feet up.
🎨 Attention to Color Matching and Material Selection
Formal suits are generally based on calm color schemes with black or dark tones, which is why the texture of the material and subtle nuances of color are crucial. In this project, to faithfully reproduce the colors from the materials provided by the customer, we carefully selected the best fabric from dozens of samples.
By using lustrous fabrics, we expressed a sense of luxury and elegance. We also paid meticulous attention to the color balance to ensure a beautiful contrast between the white of the shirt and the dark tones of the jacket and trousers.
🔍 Accuracy of Material Reproduction
We prioritized faithfully reproducing every detail of the design by repeatedly reviewing the drawings and photos provided by the customer. We pursued consistency with the provided materials in all elements, including the collar shape, button placement, pocket position, and the balance of the jacket and trouser lengths.
During the production process, we took photos at intermediate stages to confirm that there were no discrepancies with the customer's vision.
💼 Completeness of the Total Co-ordination
Beyond the completeness of each individual item, we also emphasized the overall balance when all six items are combined. The degree to which the tie peeks out from the shirt collar, the balance between the vest and jacket lengths, and the combination of trouser hems and shoes were all calculated to ensure harmony when viewed as a whole.
The finish is beautiful from every angle and perfect for photos, allowing you to fully enjoy it for photography and display.
